It's truly a real walkie talkie! This app is so freaking cool! It literally makes your phone Into a legit, push-to-talk walkie talkie....only cooler bcuz there is no limit to the range of distance you can be away from the other device. If you need a walkie talkie quick status, this is absolutely the app you should download. Super duper easy to use and quick transformation from phone to walkie talkie. No annoying ads. I have not one bad thing to say about this app. It's awesome

There is significant delay (2s) after the talk button is pressed and the voice is recorded for the other side. I understand there are network delays, but the recording side should be able to be captured sooner after button is pressed, and then the receiving could be delayed by network, but cutting off the first 1-2 seconds of every transmit makes it hard to use, unless everyone remembers to wait 2 s after pressing the talk button before talking.

Thanks for the review. There is a new version I plan on releasing shortly. Please try the new version which is in beta: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.selvaraj.twoway.android. The new version is not compatible with the old but includes improvements to the audio quality and latency.

what did you do? this app was fantastic till the so-called update. I've lost all control, can't change channels, can't talk to the boss. how about putting it back the way it was. from 5 star to useless. one more thing, no notice of update you just did it with absolutely no regard to users. I lied, there is something else. now I'm stuck listening to people "play" with it all hours of the day and night. with the old version our group had our own channel with no outside interference.

I’m sorry for the frustration. The new version improves audio quality and fixes several UI issues to help you regain control. To avoid interference, we recommend using a unique alphanumeric channel name (e.g., "MyTeam123") instead of a public number. This keeps your group private.
